Welcome to the RVLifeandTravels.com blog. I’m so happy that you found my website and hope you will find it helpful and fun.
Who am I?
My name is Deb, and right now I’m in the beginning stages of transitioning to full-time RV life and travels across the country. The decision to join the thousands out there already full-time RV’ing is huge! Current plans are to hit the road in the Spring, 2019.
Although I am single, I won’t be alone. My son, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren (ages 9, 8, and 15 months) will be traveling with me in their own RV. What beautiful memories we will make! I’m sure there will be challenges along the way, but the great times and memories that await us will far outweigh the mishaps that are bound to occur.
I have begun the downsizing process but probably won’t buy an RV until February/March next year, unless I come across “the one.” There’s so much to think about and so much to learn. I’ll write about all of it here and hopefully, it will be an asset to those of you who are considering the full-time RV lifestyle as well. Of course, once I’m on the road, I’ll continue writing about our adventure – the good, the bad, and the ugly!
I’m also in the process of researching RV types, RV safety, towing, and a myriad of other topics.
- Well, the decision has been made already – CHECK!
- What type of RV should I choose?
- What type of tow vehicle would I need?
- How do you tow an RV safely?
- Researching RV safety issues.
- Downsizing – getting rid of my stuff!
Join Me on This Journey!
So come along with me for the ride. This is a huge learning process – so many things to consider and take care of, but I am confident I’ll get it done.
I hope you will join me on this journey. Safe travels everyone!
